Spring Business Expo and Craft Show

Interested in some of the new businesses or non-profits in town? Are you curious as to what the local businesses are up to and have to offer? Looking for some handmade, locally produced crafts? Want to be entered into numerous drawings for FREE stuff or maybe you are just looking for some of that amazing caramel popcorn the Grass Lake Fire Department serves each year, then the 2016 Grass Lake Spring Expo and Craft Show is the place to be.

Next weekend marks the 11th Spring Business Expo and Craft Show. This annual event hosted by the Grass Lake Regional Chamber of Commerce runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Saturday March 19th at Grass Lake High School, 11500 Warrior Trail.

Close to 90 local businesses, craft makers and several non-profits will be showcasing their businesses, wares and visions to the community at their booths. This free event is a great way to spend a Saturday with other residents of Grass Lake.

“The public should be stopping by just to see what new businesses have popped up recently as well as what’s new at the currently existing businesses” said Tom Nolte, Executive Director of the Grass Lake Chamber of Commerce.

Admission is free all day. There will be entertainment and food as well.

Ian Stewart will be performing from Noon till 1:00 pm and Mojo Lite from 1:30 to 2:30 pm. Ghostrider DJ will be emceeing the event. The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will be hosting a free raffle for a 48 inch flat-screen smart TV and a video game console system. Many local businesses also have free giveaways and raffles.
