A Topsy Turvy Tower planter!

Busy Lizzies’
Garden Reflections
from 126 Brown Street in Grass Lake

Planting in the shade can be challenging.  There are some really pretty perennials that can be planted in shade like hosta, astilbe, ferns, coral bell and brunnera; but these are mainly planted for their variations in foliage, not necessarily for the flower colors.  Enter the beautiful Proven Winners Rockapulco series of double impatiens –  Appleblossom, Red and Coral Reef; a new color this year that starts out bright coral, but slowly turns pink from the center out as the flower ages.  Or try nonstop begonias, a classic garden favorite.  Either one of these beautiful flowers will provide summer long stand out color in the shade.

Stop in to see these and other varieties of beautiful plants and flowers we have in stock, or can special order for you.

Visit us for our Grand Opening on June 9th; ribbon cutting ceremony at 10:00 am with appetizers, desserts and door prizes happening all day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Keep growing!
