Jacob Rapp (above with shotgun) shot an impressive 8 point buck on December 4, 2010 while hunting with his dad on family property in Ohio.

It was Jacob’s second successful year hunting the property for whitetails. Jacob is 11 years old and a sixth grader at Grass Lake Middle School. Dan and Jennifer Rapp of Grass Lake are his proud parents.

Inaugural Festival Gets High Marks

Grass Lake families and friends filled downtown Grass Lake during the first Festival of Lights on December 4, 2010. Fund raisers during the event contributed over $430 to help with the $850 cost of 8,400 lights.

In a game with 70 free throws, the lady warriors came out on top against East Jackson, 47-34. At the half, the Grass Lake ladies were up by 10, 22-12.
